I love taking photos and sharing those that I find outstanding. I also love learning about photography and experimenting different techniques and practising the skills I’d like to keep.
My love for photography is only rivaled by that for cameras. As a teenager, I was fascinated by this device that had the ability to capture moments. I have a decent number of obsolete vintage cameras in my collection.
Every now and then I get them from the shelf and play with the dials as I ponder about their intricate mechanics. When I do, I shudder at the thought of having to wait for the roll of film to develop so I know if that bird was in focus or not.
Every now and then, I entertain grand dreams of inviting the public to a gallery where my best photos are displayed, Maybe even publishing a photography book, or a book with my favorite photos. For now I have martinpics.de. I hope you like the photos.
